We will introduce the full details of the "FOLBOT meeting" held for two days from Saturday, June 14th to Sunday, June 15th, 2025, by chartering the Motosuko Lakeside Campground at the foot of Mt. Fuji, on the shores of Lake Motosu.
This experiential event, where participants can enjoy kayaking and SUP while camping, was first held in Lake Yamanaka in September 2023, with the second event in Lake Biwa in June 2024, and this was its third installment.
The FOLBOT meeting is an event not only for FOLBOT owners, but also for those interested in kayaking and SUP who have no experience, or those who are unsure which model to choose and want to try out different types.

Lake Motosu, the venue for the third event, is a beautiful lake known for its high transparency and unique blue color, referred to as "Motosu Blue."
From the lake, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, and there are spots where you can jump into the lake from the rocky shores, allowing you to fully enjoy water activities.
You can find more detailed information about Lake Motosu in the SPOT introduction article about kayaking and SUP spots, so please refer to that as well.

The opening of the "FOLBOT meeting" - The first day in rain and wind -
June 14th (Sat) - Day 1 of the event
11:00 AM: Event starts with the opening ceremony!

The first day of the event began with an opening ceremony at 11:00 AM.
Unfortunately, it was a cold and rainy day with wind, but over 100 participants gathered.
During the opening ceremony, an explanation of the event content and an introduction of collaborative brands were also given.

After the opening ceremony, the venue opened for item sales by participating brands, as well as food and drink sales, including yakisoba, lemonade, and craft beer.
The yakisoba was so popular that it sold out, and many participants enjoyed their lunch.

Additionally, event-limited T-shirts (5,000 yen including tax) with the logos of participating brands, specially made for this event, were sold in a limited quantity of about 50 pieces.
They were so popular that they sold out in no time!
1:00 PM: Kayak and SUP test rides

Around 1:00 PM, the highly anticipated kayak and SUP test rides began.

While experienced individuals freely ventured out onto the lake, beginners were given careful instructions and lectures on how to ride, so I believe they were able to enjoy themselves with peace of mind.

Landman, a SUP manufacturer, also cooperated, allowing participants to try out narrow racing SUPs that are not made by FOLBOT, and compare various types of boards.

There were also children who tried out the single-person SUP.

Many people enjoyed kayaking and SUP with their beloved dogs and children♪

Seeing their big smiles also made me smile!
5:00 PM: The usual bandana relay and rock-paper-scissors tournament

The "Waterproof Bandana Relay," a regular event, was also held.
This is a 4-person relay using FOLBOT's highly water-repellent large bandanas to carry water from the lake and fill a bucket.

Participants were randomly divided into teams based on the alphabet written on their wristbands, forming teams with people they had never met before.
This provided an opportunity for natural interaction through strategizing and cooperation.

The winning team received a luxurious prize: a life jacket for every team member, which created a lot of excitement.
Following that, a rock-paper-scissors tournament was also held by the exhibiting and sponsoring brands, with many people participating for the chance to win luxurious prizes.
In the evening, participants enjoyed camping at their respective sites, bringing the first day to a close.
The final day in perfect conditions: Enjoying the Motosu Blue
June 15th (Sun) - Final day of the event
Early morning: Refresh with morning yoga

In contrast to the previous night's bad weather, a morning yoga lesson by Sayuri-sensei of old sea was held early on the final day.

Despite the rain, many participants gathered and enjoyed moving their bodies, reporting that it helped refresh their tired bodies from camping.

Both adults and children were able to have a fun time together.
Morning: Perfect day for test rides

As if the previous night's bad weather was a lie, there was no wind and the rain had stopped, creating perfect conditions.
The lake surface reflected the scenery like a mirror, and the "Motosu Blue," where the underwater scene was clearly visible, could be enjoyed to its fullest.

Given these excellent conditions, many participants simultaneously went out onto the lake and fully enjoyed test-riding kayaks and SUPs.

The FOLBOT meeting is an excellent opportunity for people who love outdoors, kayaking, SUP, and FOLBOT to gather and make new friends.
We plan to hold it again next year, so those who couldn't make it this time, let's enjoy it together next time!

Following this event, the first owner-exclusive meeting will be held at the same Motosuko Lakeside Campground on October 4th-5th, 2025!
Details about this will be announced on Instagram in the future, so FOLBOT owners, please be sure to check it out.
